Vimbainaishe Mutsvairo

My name is Vimbainaishe Mutsvairo. I am a final year Industrial Engineering student at the

University of Zimbabwe. My favorite concepts are manufacturing systems design and

computer aided drawing and design. I currently run a mobile hairdressing side hustle.

Through an entrepreneurship program, I developed a business plan to start a specialized

hair care products company for afro-ethnic hair called “Rikure Hair”, which means “to grow

hair”. It will focus on manufacturing and sales of tailored hair products, educational seminars, and consultations. So far I have researched potential local raw materials. I volunteer teaching robotics and with drone education programs. I am passionate about STEM and helping girls achieve their goals in these fields. I enjoy reading about global economies and politics. To describe myself: extroverted, motivated go-getter and passionate about STEM.

Veronica Mmesoma Ani

My name is Veronica Mmesoma Ani, a pharmacist and an email copywriter. I’m a third child in a family of five children. I love; art, watching talent shows and dancing. I admire people with great skills and talents. I’ve always wished to be coached by a resource person(s) and  I’m glad it’s coming into reality.

A teen undergraduate student at Ahmadu Bello University, is currently pursuing her studies in Medical Laboratory Science. Immersed in the world of STEM, she seizes every opportunity to learn and grow. Passionate about medical science, Priscilla is committed to making a lasting impact. She is actively involved with Enactus, a global non-profit organization dedicated to empowering communities through entrepreneurial action. From embracing challenges to fostering innovation, Priscilla’s STEM journey is fueled by her relentless pursuit of knowledge and her desire to make a positive difference in the world.

Looking ahead, Priscilla aspires to pursue a career in medical research, with a focus on developing diagnostic tools and treatments aimed at enhancing healthcare accessibility and outcomes, particularly in underserved communities.

I’m Nti Priscilla Nana Yaa, a Ghanaian lady reading Bsc. Biochemistry. I am a research enthusiast and I am passionate about science and technology. I love to create new things, bring on board new ideas and help contribute to make the world around me better even if it is in a small way. My passion for Science and Technology has driven me to participate in several trainings to aid me become a better researcher as well as innovative and this passion drove me to apply for my first ever Stem Mentorship Program. I have problem solving skills, analytical skills and critical skills. I am able to learn and unlearn in order to become better and do better things and for that reason I do not take this mentorship programme lightly. I believe that by the end of this programme, I would be well informed, inspired to do more and do exploits.

I am a dedicated student pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology at the University of Ghana. With a passion for technology and a thirst for knowledge, I am committed to mastering various aspects of IT, such as programming, data analysis, software engineering, and cybersecurity. Outside of my studies, I enjoy  exploring new coding languages and participating in local tech workshops to sharpen her skills. I am excited to join the mentorship program to connect with fellow mentees and learn from experienced professionals in the field, and further my journey in the tech industry.

Mary Magdalene Naa Kwarnor Quarcoo

I am Mary Magdalene Naa Kwarnor Quarcoo, a statistician, data- analyst, and entrepreneur. I love data and am passionate about drawing insights from data to solve real-life issues and for development. I pursued a BSc. degree in Statistics at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana, and graduated with First Class Honours in 2022. I served as a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science right after my undergraduate studies for a year and proceeded to start “ChicStrands” an online fashion shop. I believe in empowering women in STEM and I am convinced that women will contribute greatly in STEM if they are supported and equipped.

I am a National Service Personnel at Rigelis Inc. with a passion for numbers and a keen eye for detail. Armed with a degree in Accounting from the University of Ghana, I possess a strong foundation in financial analysis and reporting. Alongside my accounting expertise, l harbor aspirations of becoming a proficient Data Analyst eager to merge my analytical skills with emerging technologies. I’m actively seeking opportunities to delve into the world of data analysis and outside of work, I enjoy staying updated on the latest trends in data analysis, learning French and exploring new software tools.

Celestina Adu

With over 4 years of experience in dynamic quality assurance and food safety, backed by a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry, I have excelled in scientific research, food safety analysis, risk assessment, and quality control. Notable achievements include leading a DMAIC project resulting in an 80% reduction in consumer complaints and conducting foreign body risk assessments leading to a 30% decrease in incidents. I’ve coordinated HACCP/CCP, PRP, and OPRP activities, enhancing product quality by 32%. In scientific research, I developed effective Plasmodium antigens and played a pivotal role in a national pest management initiative, reducing microbial contamination incidents by 20%. Through implementing a Food Safety program, I impacted 30,000 individuals and garnered local news recognition.

My names are NIYIGENA Aimee Joyeuse, a Rwandan by nationality but lives in Ghana.

I’m doing BSc. Biochemistry in KNUST University, and a trainee in Business and leadership in ASPIRE Institute which is under Harvard Business School, apart from my academic activities, I’m a dedicated graphic designer and web designer.

My mission and vision is to be a source of Joy and happiness as well as a hope giver to the people around me and to my fellow Africans, I have a hope that I will be the reason to remind people that it is still possible to make it in life, that there is still a chance to change to their best version, that there is still time awaiting for them to rise again and shine their dormant stars to the world, that just because the sun isn’t seen at night, it doesn’t mean that it is no longer there.

My name is Dorcas Kotei.I am 23 years old and hail from the Greater Accra Region of Ghana and a Christian. I am a 2023 graduate of University of Ghana with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and resource development.

 

I am currently undertaking a one-year service to my Country. I admire women who are in great positions in their career life, and this inspires me to work hard to be like them. I am a self-motivated and proactive person who strives to achieve success and excel in whatever I decide to do. I am always willing and open to learning new things. My passion lies in research and the use of technology for spatial planning and environmental protection.
